Dear students and teachers:

Good morning everyone. Welcome back to school and happy new year 2023. I hope you enjoyed yourselves well during the Christmas Holiday, and also have prepared yourselves well for the study of the new term.

The first term was indeed remarkable, especially for our JSS 1 students who just started their secondary academic journey. It was a bit tedious, also it was fun; above all, I am well pleased with the first-term results. It was indeed a good performance from all students, except for a few students who would be given additional coaching in line with our school’s vision of all-round excellence to ensure they improve on their performance on identified key subjects they are struggling to cope with.

I also use this opportunity to give big thanks to our dedicated instructors for their devotion and contribution to the academic productivity of the students.

Last term, we initiated the school portal for ease of accessing academic records. We are pleased to announce that the first-term results have been successfully uploaded on the portal and are now live and ready for parents to access their children’s performance from the comfort of their homes.

Also, this term is filled with a lot of activities such as Inter-house sports activities, excursions, debates, competitions, projects, fieldwork, and external examinations preparations for JSS3 class. I would like to inform you that we are fully set to explore and break new ground as we move on.

To the students: you must have a vision of what you want to achieve this term academically, morally, and spiritually. Always remember that: what you define determines what you can find, what you can discover. The road you choose determines the place you will end. So you must write out your vision for this year, and break it down to daily, weekly and monthly. Your vision represents what you can see coming in your academic life and your other aspects of life. Remember what is not written down does not have the right to come to pass. It’s our prayer that this year you will grow bigger and more glorious in Jesus’ name.

Additionally, the school fees policy document would be shared with you to give to your parents on the new directive for payments and timeline for the remittance also. We are moving fast on the permanent site construction and by God’s Grace, we would make it ready for use in the new session.

Finally, I would once again enjoin the students to please take their studies seriously, be self-disciplined and polite to the staff, their classmates, and schoolmates, be empathetic to the weak, say hello to people you meet every day show your smiles and concerns to the others while striving for excellence with love. I believe we can do it Dear Nemie Students. I would also like you to appreciate our dedicated teachers. I think with their devotion and support you will truly have an enjoyable school life. Once again remember you are the light to your world, be excellent while learning with a smile.
